Praise for Text to Speech

NaturalReader is a great, free iOS app

I shared this as a five star review today on the Apple App Store:

I use this app every week to listen to the news. Doesn’t work for every article, depending on what kind of capcha technologies are on the site, but for open articles, it seems to be great. I find it handy to listen to many news articles that I either don’t have time to read or just when I’m on the go. This is one of my favorite utilities and I continue to use the free version, I think maybe you can pay for more features, but I have not had to pay yet.

Do you use something else for text to speech? I used to use the iOS app “Pocket,” which would “clean up” news articles by removing advertisements and other distractions, and had an option to listen to an article with audio. But that app has been discontinued.

These are some of the other “utility apps” I use fairly frequently now on my iPhone.
